Meet Us
Jim Haigh, Fearless Leader. Jim assumed the reigns of Profit Line Distributing in 2012 and assembled the team who make us up today. Previously a cofounder and partner of Redwood Marketing, Jim has long and distinguished career representing premium manufacturers in Northern California. Prior to his 7 years at Redwood, Jim was a regional sales manager with Boston Acoustics for 13 years. Jim has long had a passion for audio, so much so that after receiving his degree from Cal Poly he founded and opened the retail specialty store Audio Ecstasy in San Luis Obispo, which is still open today. When he’s not in the office, you can often find Jim cooking, playing golf and traveling.
Paxton McCreless, Warehouse & Operations Manager. Quite simply, Paxton is the glue that holds the team together. After two decades at some of the most highly respected retail AV showrooms in the Bay Area, Paxton found his home at Profit Line Distributing. Paxton manages all aspects of our warehouse, and carefully assures that each and every order he ships arrives on time, as expected, and packed with care. Paxton is an avid cyclist and a bocce ball stud, and enjoys kicking back with some killer tunes and a tasty microbrew.
C’Aubree Dreier, Bookkeeper. C’Aubree keeps the team running smoothly by managing our accounting and credit department. She has 16 years of bookkeeping experience within a variety of industries. Outside of the office she is a massage therapist who enjoys playing tennis, rooting for the San Jose Sharks and listening to all types of music.
Chris Haigh, Sales. Chris has combined his extensive experience in sales and customer service with his musical background to find a home a Profit Line Distributing. A vocalist and guitar player, it’s all about the music for Chris, who loves going to concerts and live music when he’s out or his large collection of vinyl when he’s at home.
Johnny Mota. Johnny Mota is a former systems integrator in Northern California, & former customer of Profit Line AV. He also writes & hosts a Podcast (AV Insider) for rAVe [Publications] as a member of their BlogSquad, & formerly SF New Tech, Geek Beat TV, Lust Gadget, etc. in his spare time. He’s been the social media manager for a few AV and automation companies you’re most likely familiar with. He was almost the most influential tech person of the year in CE PRO , but lost by a small margin to Steve Jobs in that Issue of the magazine. Johnny brings his lighting, AV, media & marketing experience to Profit Line AV. With over 10 years in AV, Automation & lighting distribution experience (ranging from small accounts/projects to large corporate multimillion dollar projects & project/account management), Johnny joins Profit Line with great enthusiasm towards helping others in being successful with their projects. He loves art, technology, and lamp. Don’t make it weird.
